Board of Directors

DAVID ROSS (Chairman)

David is a chartered accountant with a broad business background. David is a director of a significant number of private companies in New Zealand and Australia and has been actively involved with start-up businesses for the past 20 years.  He has a specific interest in high technology projects.  David operates a consultancy practice focussed mainly on the corporate sector.

Stephen Henry (Chief Executive Officer)

Stephen (Steve) Henry, founder of KODE Biotech Limited, is also Professor at Auckland University of Technology (Chief Executive – Biotechnology, Scott Laboratories, Faculty of Health and Environmental Science).  Steve has a strong research and management background holding PhD’s in Biochemistry (Auckland) and Medicine (Göteborg), plus other tertiary qualifications in science/laboratory medicine, education and business. He has published over 120 scientific articles, and is an inventor on more than 20 KODE™ Technology patent applications.

Dinesh Dass (Non-executive Director)

Chartered Accountant, previously taxation and corporate advisory specialist with PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Dinesh’s career encompasses 30 years experience with PriceWaterhouse Coopers (and its predecessors) including 17 years as a partner. Dinesh has extensive auditing and corporate advisory services experience, including corporate planning and administration, acquisitions and mergers, management buy-outs, due diligence reviews, and advising overseas corporations setting up or acquiring businesses in New Zealand.

Eric Henry (Non-executive Director)

Eric Henry joined KODE Biotech to develop its commercial opportunities. Eric is a chartered accountant with business experience in New Zealand, and internationally including CEO positions in Fletcher Challenge Limited and the Kiwi Fruit Marketing Board (now Zespri International). Eric is a graduate of Harvard Business School (ISMP).  Eric was KODE Biotech’s Chairman from July 2001 to August 2008.
